Claims for reasonable financial provision:

Certain categories of people may be able to make an application to the Court to claim under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 for reasonable financial provision.

Contesting the validity of a Will:

The law sets out the requirements for a Will to be valid.  If there is a question as to whether the Will was made in accordance with the law then it may be contested.  There must be grounds and evidence to support such a claim.

Defending a claim:

We are able to represent the beneficiaries of an Estate where a claim under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 is being made or the validity of the Will is being questioned, which may result in the beneficiaries’ share under the terms of the Will or intestacy (dying without a Will) being reduced or removed.
